Sample Submitted Articles

As a newer or less experienced writer, you may wonder about Voyageur's writing submission and editing process. So we have posted two completed articles in various stages of the editing process to give you a better feel of how to submit a good article and what to expect. Articles are posted in original - which is the raw submission from the original writer, edited - which includes editor's notes and steps took, and final - which is the final copy that Voyageur published.

Here are the example changes we have made to this article. As you can see we did a lot of rewording to increase flow to story. We also made a lot of grammatical changes. Other changes include blah, blah, blah, blah.
It is always a plus if you can have someone else read your work before you submit it to help minimize on the editing process.

From Editing to Publishing
Once the editing process is complete it is sent back to the author for approval. Additionally, Voyageur will contact the author to obtain any additional images that may be useful to the lay out of the article. Often time due to the timeline on may of these article and the nature of publishing, Voyageur must work very closely with the author to utilize the available resources. Then Voyager will edit it a second time and submit it to our publishing team. Blah, blah, blah.
